Merced College Fall 2022/Spring 2023 ADN

Starting a thread for any ADN applicants. This will be my first year applying to nursing programs. Already have a Bachelor's in Health Administration but GPA is only 3.35. Looking for others starting the process :).

 The end of May. There is no set date. 

I'm in the same boat. I applied for Fresno and was unselected. How many points are you applying with at Merced?

I applies with 85. If I retake math or English and get an A I’ll apply with 90 next time. But I really don’t want to retake Bs! Since those 2 classes are time consuming… I was already accepted to COS and my orientation is this Wednesday but I’ll give up my seat since my newborn is only a month old and I’m infatuated. But dang, I’m so obsessed with the idea of finishing what I set out to do!!

Congratulations on getting accepted to COS! Fingers crossed we hear back from Merced at the beginning of May! I was very bummed out yesterday when I saw I was unselected for Fresno. Almost makes me feel doubtful about my future.

Oh no! Don’t you doubt your future. You have a very bright future ahead of you!! I too was unselected yesterday. It was my 2nd time applying to Fresno city. Fortunately we can increase our points by retaking math and English. I wish you luck! I hope you get into Merced!

I had a counseling appt and the counselor said we should find out by time classes end before the break.

Do they send out an email to everyone even if not accepted ? Or only to the ones that are picked

They send out an email to those who are not accepted as well. This will be my third time trying to get in. I completed a bachelors degree during COVID to get more points. Hopefully, this time works.

The closer the 20th gets the more nervous I get. How many points have you applied with in the past? and how many points did you apply with this cycle?
