Updated:   Published

Starting a thread for any ADN applicants. This will be my first year applying to nursing programs. Already have a Bachelor's in Health Administration but GPA is only 3.35. Looking for others starting the process :).

I wonder when they will send out the denial letters so we can stop checking every min

I know...Right!?!

What are everyone’s points they aren’t doing 40% of rears based on points and 60% based off a raffle

I applied with 82 points and was selected as an Alternate, #16

I have applied to nursing programs 13 times and got denied every time is this a sign to move on ? My science GPA is 3.8 and my TEAS is 80. I speak two languages the only thing I don’t get points for is LVN/CNA/Healthcare worker. I can’t do any of those cuz I have to maintain my current job to make living. IDK what to do does anyone have backup careers ? They know about ? Thank you.

I know the feeling, I applied to so many colleges and kept getting denied. It's super discouraging! you have great stats, have you tried looking into West Hills/ College of the Sequoias ? Try volunteering at Hospitals for some extra points. I received many denials before being accepted at Fresno City for Spring 2023. Having experience in health care helps so much. I would try to volunteer and if you can apply to as many schools as you can to boost your chances.

Me too, fall. They must’ve messed around with my points somehow.
