Mens scrubs

Published

my school told me I need to get scoop neck scrubs.

I looked around and it seems to me that scoop necks are just for women.

Also do mens scrubs come in anything but v-necks?

I would ask your school as to where you could find scoop neck scrubs. :twocents: I've only seen men's scrubs in a v-neck style.

thanks that is what I thought I will speak to them tomorrow about that

I have to admit I wasn't sure what a scoop neck was exactly, my wife told me "they're for showing off your boobs", which doesn't sound very manly, although it does sound like you've chosen an interesting nursing school.

If you're tall (taller than most women), I'd suggest getting Aviator scrubs with the extra length option for the tops.

thats pretty funny because i think the main reason they said that was so the women in the class dont wear v-necks which the said would be very revealing when leaning over

I went to the Cleveland Clinic a month or two ago for personal reasons and the one thing I remember is that every RN had white scrubs on, men and women. I hated the white scrubs when I was in clinicals, but even on experienced nurses they looked AWESOME. I now realize that it was partially due to the fact that they were white, but if I am not mistaken they were all the scoop tops like you mentioned. For some reason they looked really orderly, but yet fashionable.

That being said as a guy I don't think I'd want to be wearing them.

You'll have to let us know what you find out!

thanks I worked it out with my school and they said the guys can wear v-necks

Yeah the Cleveland Clinic recently switched to requiring white scrubs of all nurses. It doesn't matter which hospital either.
