Hello!
I have an interview soon at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. Anyone work here? Any information would be appreciated - pay, benefits, flexibility, tuition coverage, patient to nurse ratios, anything else you have to say? I'm experienced in the specialty I'm interviewing for (2.5 years). Any info on the hiring process/length in particular is appreciated. Thank you!

I know a few nurses that work at that place. From what they told me the flexibility is awesome. They were all able to get time off to earn BSNs, vacations, CEUs, maternity leave or just switching shifts last minute(as long as the proper procedure was fallowed). I interviewed just to volunteer with them and they told me about the tuition assistance for volunteers and employees so if your trying to get your education paid for (at least in part) I know they will help with that as long as the schools accredited. I have herd from others they started out at 23 an hour but they were all new RNs with years of LPN experience. I hope this helps some?
That's so helpful, thank you! I got the offer on the spot and I'm accepting. :) That's all helpful information. Tuition assistance is definitely wanted and needed, and I'm very much looking forward to a flexible schedule. I don't even mind picking up shifts last minute as long as I can switch around my own schedule with relative ease! I'm very excited to start here.
Congratulations! I'm happy they offered you the job and I hope you enjoy your time with memorial. ?

Hi, are you still working there?
