Starting a thread for the Memorial Hermann Winter 2021 Nursing Residency applicants.

I got a call from a recruiter today and received an offer for both ICU and CDU for MH Northeast! Good luck to everyone awaiting news, seems like they are still making offers this week!

I received a phone call today after emailing my recruiter for TMC Sarofim IMU! I guess they're running behind for some units

Congrats to everyone finding jobs in your desired placements! I know I don't quite fit the criteria for this thread since I am a student expected to graduate this December, but I was hoping someone could tell me when the application opens for Winter graduates? Right now MH's website only shows the deadline for Spring grads.

The application for the Winter cohort opened back in September ? But I believe there are still some job postings for the Winter cohort up that you can apply to. Just go to the career page and when you search in the available jobs, search for "new grad residency". Hope this helps! ?

Thank you!! To clarify, I graduate in Dec 2021 this year so I’ll look for it to open in September! ?

Oops LOL I missed that, but yes, most hospital systems will open their application processes around August, September, October if I remember correctly. I think I did most of my applications around the end of September, but that was kind of down to the wire as far as the deadlines were concerned. And make sure you have your rec letters from clinical faculty, school faculty, previous employers, or whoever secured before then. You don't want to miss an application deadline because you're waiting on rec letters. Some places don't require any but will accept them, then other places require 2 letters. ?

Hi Guys! So I saw that Hermann opened today Feb 14-21st and I went to their careers page but I can't seem to find the nurse residency opening! If someone could help me I would greatly appreciated because I am sure I am just missing it! Thanks a bunch!!

Hi! I'm trying to prepare for the application. For the recommendation letters, do the letters need to be on file or is there a link that is sent to the faculty and they upload through the link? Any other advice would be greatly appreciated!
