Memorial Hermann June 2012 Internship is up

If anyone is interested in Memorial Hermann, their Nurse Internships are up. Areas include OR, ER, ICU, Women's Services, and Med Surge.

I applied for the MH Nicu internship and I received an email yesterday saying, " you will need to submit forms by email to get a folder started for your interview. We will start the interview process in the third week of April, so mark your calendar. I will be sending out communication invites in a couple of Weeks" Did anyone else receive this email?

Should I still expect their call or email? I haven't gotten anything yet and don't know if I should have hope for this internship. Hope to get contacted soon!

I called the hr department yesterday, but I couldn't talked the hr. I left a voice mail but not a return call so far. Does anyone know if they are still calling for interviews??? Please anyone?????

moglij, I also called the HR dept last week and left a voicemail and I have not received a call back. I'm going to try again tmrw.

I didn't see an application for the NICU, but I did apply for the ICU, ER, Med-Surge and Women's Services positions. I received an email last week asking me to submit some extra documents like you did, and yesterday I received another email asking me what department I wanted to interview with for their 'upcoming event', which I assume is their Match Day.

I also received that email. Just sent all of my stuff to the HR lady, but haven't heard back yet. A few people at my school got this same email and then received a reply from HR asking with what department they would like to interview with. I am not sure whether that's for the "Match Day" or if it's for an actual separate interview process. I emailed her asking that question and will hopefully hear back soon, but I'm sure she is swamped.

I received an official email invitation to Match Day next week. It says to RSVP by April 16, so be on the lookout for the email!

Has anyone heard anything regarding starting pay for new grads at Memorial Hermann?

It is $21 for the internship

That is relatively low for the med center. I wonder if that bumps up after you get licensed or after you get off orientation.
