Hi all!
Making a thread for the Memorial Hermann GN Residency Program starting in summer 2018.
Anyone going to the open house/ pre-match day soon on February 17??
I replied to the questions they asked and stated I was an ADN student. I also had a family member who works in the ER at TMC who asked a coworker who is actually on the interview panel if having an ADN vs a BSN would sway her one way or the other and she said "No, I look at the overall person." So I drove 4 hours down there to attend and after submitting my application I got an email stating that TMC and Childrens do not accept ADN students. SO I'm not really sure why they never told me that, especially when they knew I was an ADN student who's first choice was TMC. The only memorial hospitals that hire ADNs are Pearland and southeast.
I received the same email. I told the recruiter to change my choices.

Really? I wasn't aware that none of the other branches hired ADNs. I was under the impression that only TMC and Children's were strictly BSN. I think that information should have been disclosed in the info section on the website prior to applying.

I was under that same impression. I put my first choice as Southwest. :/
