    Its also very hard for a new grad to find a position in Northern California. People are moving towards Southern California where its getting competitive as well.

11. Best way to deliver resumes

    I believe that the best way is to deliver the resume to the managers in-person whenever possible. Most of the time when we apply online, majority of the time its not even read and it doesnt even get to a nursing manager.

    The HR person told me they will be hiring around 50 out of 200 applicants who will be invited to the open house.

    We gotta keep hoping. Thats all I have to say. I am in the same boat myself in terms of job search. All the hard work in nursing school and all the hassles now, will pay off some day.
