    antidepressants. But definately the most interesting is ingestion of bleach (which I have seen on 3 seperate occasions).

    lol. beautiful story. i felt the same way. i passed in 75 questions too.
  6. i am fairly ok with my coworkers, we are like a little family on my unit. some patients can be a little anoyying. visitors can definately drive you crazy and sometimes they increase the patients anxiety.

    I work in nyc in a very large hospital and management is still hiring nurses. I work in a burn unit and we currently have nurses on orientation for permanent positions. (and new grads are welcome!)

    I am very interested in telephone triage!! what experiences do I need?? I would put off mentioning the vaca part. Is is possible you could reschedule your vaca??

    What state are you in? where I am (NY) I knew a few people personally who benefited from this. Depends on the hospitals. Very few Hospitals do it here in NY I think.

    this is how we knew at my old facility; there is a DNR order in the computer (online cart), the nurse assigned SHOULD KNOW, color coded stickers on pts paper chart, and bright blue bracelet on pt's wrist.

    a friend of mine who works in manhattan makes over 150K--nights, perdiem...and this friend almost literally kills theirself with OT every week!
