MedSpa interview

Published

Hey everyone,

I was called last minute for an interview tomorrow for a new grad position at a MedSpa. I was just wondering if anyone knows what questions they typically ask during the interview?

Any help would be great.

Thanks. :nurse:

Sorry I can't help you but I am so excited to see this. I went to nursing school to work in a medi spa and I never see anything mentioned at all about medi spas.

I didn't know there were medi spa new grad positions. Can I ask where you are?

I am in southern CA and the place is in Beverly Hills. I actually got a call back from them today asking me to come in and observe their nurses in a typical day. I'm not sure if that means I got the job or not. We'll see.

I'm still iffy as to whether to accept or not. If I did, do you know if I could switch to acute care at a later date? I want to work in Pediatrics eventually ...

This MedSpa prefers to hire new grad RN's.

They prefer to hire new grad RNs. That is interesting. I wonder why.

If you do want to work in a hospital eventually I would say don't do the medi spa thing now. I graduate in May and I will look for a hospital job, anywhere, because I want 2 years experience. Then after that I can to travel nursing, Doctors without Boarders, persue the medi spa, whatever, but I will have that coveted 2 years of hospital experience everyone requires.

Is the medi spa called MedSpa 90210 by chance?

PLease let us know how it goes. I am wonderring why they want new grads?

Can anyone post the salary they are offering? The guy in San Francisco who does my photo facials (IPL) works 2.5 dyas a week and can afford to live in the SF Bay Area and part time live in Palm Springs. He makes very good money in is 20 hours a week. Basically he works one week on and one week off. And it is enough money to live comfortably. But I don't know the other details of his life.
