Medical Terminology class online?

Would it be bad to take a medical terminology class online through my community college? Also, how do you all feel about online classes in general compared to the traditional setting?

Online classes are the best. Some allow you to set your own pace. You may have deadlines for x amount of quizzes, let's say, but you can complete them as early as you want to. Others are extremely strict, with multiple quizzes and discussion board posts due per week and open for a limited amount of time (like a quiz open from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m.). (Get a planner or some type of calendar if you don't already have one or both.) Some have tests and some don't. Most have discussion boards, which are much the same as this board, but you have to make sure to follow proper writing rules (third person, citations, no LOLing, etc.). Most are reading intensive; since you don't go to a class and listen to a lecture, you need to read the book. Some online classes now actually have lectures, though. The professor records the lecture and uploads it to the site. I like those a lot.

As an introvert who lives far from campus, I have found online classes to be great alternatives to traditional on-campus classes. I loved my med term online class. It was definitely a set your own pace kind of class, and I completed all of my course work about three weeks before the semester ended. Awesome.
