2 Medical dictionaries, which to choose???

Hello all,

We have a choice of 2 medical dictionaries in my Nursing program, and I'm not sure which to get. The price diff. is about 5 buck, so that's not an issue... Does anyone know of these, and do you have any personal prefference or recomendation?

I don't know which to pick. Stedman's comes shrink wraped so I can't see inside, and Taber's isn't shrink wraped, it looks good, but I wish I could see Stedman's inside before I decide... if I buy Stedman's, once the shrink wrap is off it' non-returnable... So I'm kinda stuck.

The choices:

- Stedman's Medical Dictionary for the Health Professions & Nursing Illustrated, 6th Edition.

- Taber's Cycopedic Medical Dictionary, 21st edition.

Any help? Please!

Thanks,

Yeah! I just went to the bookstore, to check them out again, this is the exact one sitting on the shelf:

Amazon.com: Tabers Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary, 21st Edition (Thumb Index Version) (9780803615595): Donald Venes: Books

College bookstore: $52, Amazon.com: $29 amazon.ca:$44

Taber's t has a cd and all, the other one doesn't and no one voted for it, so Taber's it is then! :)

Thanks for your help everyone! :)
