hi!
i just found out today that my youngest son (5 yrs old) has primary tb..he undergone xray..and results showed peri hilar adenopathies..he has cough, lymphadenopathies (neck), tonsils swollen..he has asthma too.
does these findings will affect his medicals in the future?
are kids have x-rays too at st. lukes?
please enlighten me about this...
had my xray and i am cleared..my eldest and my hubby will have theirs tomorrow.
i am really worried... :o

Hi Leah,
It will only delay his coming to the US. Once he is free of TB, the US Embassy will issue his visa.
Don't worry. Start the treatment right away and who knows by the time you and your family will have your medicals, your son will come out clean.
Don't forget to bring the old x-rays of your son when you have your medicals.
