You guys are part of my support system, right? Ok, I am so scared of getting all of those injections/blood work for my medical clearance.
I have always been an extreme baby in this area..much drama at the sight of me getting one. :chair: Please someone give me something that I can hang on to... Ive had 4 surgeries in the last 4yrs...uh they occurred in the same summer...true. Im not used to it, :chair:

Since I have tiny veins that roll all over the place, it is hard for technicians and phlebotomists to withdraw blood from me. They usually have to poke me 3 or 4 times before they're finally able to get the gauge inside my little vein, so this is a bad experience for me.
I have found that it helps me greatly if I turn my head in the opposite direction while they're doing their bloodwork and testing. I simply do not look at the techs or my arm as they're withdrawing the blood. Just realize that it will all be over in a few minutes. :)
