Hey y'all!

I wanted to start a thread for those who have applied to medical city intern positions for 2017!

I applied for the women's internship and already did a video interview for them. The turnover was pretty quick! Now just waiting.

What was the title of the scrubs email? I got the drug test but that's it. Well I did get one on boarding info where it went over rules and scrub colors but that was it.

The subject was "Welcome to Medical City Dallas!" Reply back to the drug screen email because they came from the same person... Hope that helps!!

I didn't get the scrubs info until I went into HR for my new employee health screen and to turn in my paperwork.

Hi,

I live out of Texas and have been trying to find information about Medical City's Nurse Internship program. I have called and left several voicemails for the nurse recruiter they always transfer me to and have yet to have anyone return my phone call. I am trying to find out if there are any intern positions for medical city childrens?

Does anyone happen to know the answer to this? If not, does anyone happen to know if there is a deadline to apply for the October start date? Finally, if anyone has a contact you might be able to pass along for me to reach out to, that would be so great also!

On their careers website if you search intern (under nursing) it will list all the internship applications available at both Children's and the adult hospital. Unofortunalty I think most appliaciton due dates have passed and most positions have been filled for the Octover start date. But just keep checking everyday because they are always updating it!.

Would you mind posting the scrub prices/brands? I never got the email

It's urbane and landau. Urbane are the softer of what is offered. You just got into scrubs and beyond and give them your id. They will show you what is allowed. I bought a jacket, two different tops and two of the same pants and it was 112. There is only one urbane that had a cargo pocket. :/

I was offered the NICU position with Las Colinas and Plano!!! I accepted Plano's offer and will be rejecting Las Colinas so hopefully y'all will get that spot and the other spots that are left at Plano!! :) good luck guys!!!!!

Hey Ashley so I know this is an old thread but I was wondering if you are still working the NICU at Plano, I have an interview there in a couple weeks and am super nervous! lol are there any tips or interview questions specific to NICU that you can remember from your experience?! thank you in advance!
