Medical City Health July 2018 RN Residency

U.S.A. Texas

Published

Hi, I'm just creating this board for anyone who applied to any Medical City Hospitals for a Nurse Residency for July 2018. To anyone else who applied we can use this board to keep updated. About phone interviews, panel interviews, the process, etc.

is the intern bash talked about on their website, or was it just mentioned to those who recieved interviews?

I received it in an email from a nursing instructor...so I'm not really sure where it was advertised?

okay gotcha, thanks. What time does it start?

is this for the medical city children's in dallas, tx?

Just for any medical city position in general

Did anyone on this thread attend the intern bash last week and interview with Medical City Children's? If so, have you heard anything back from them? Negative or positive?

Hi!

I applied for Medical City Children's as an out of state applicant. I was called on January 23rd for a phone interview and sent a video interview the same day. Meridith, the recruiter, said that they would give the video interviews to the departments you picked from as your top three, on February 9th (when the application closed). She also said that usually they begin reviewing them February 12th and should start calling people with in person interviews or job positions once they've gone through the video interviews. My top pick was Pediatric ED and she had said that the most competitive areas were NICU and PICU. Hope this helps!

(Oh, and I was also asked by the recruiter what day was my prefered interview day out of the March 9th and 12th interview days)

this sounds like its for childrens medical center of dallas, not medical city childrens if im not mistaken

I did go to the intern bash but I did not interview with childrens. It seemed like a decent place to be, then when I got follow calls and interviews it was really sketchy. I had a very small timeframe to make decisions, the pay offered was insane, and choosing anything throws out all your other applications. Did anyone else have this problem with them??

did medical city already do all their interviews/give out offers?

I am wondering the same thing! I have not heard from Medical City yet.
