Members are discussing the status of their job applications and interviews at various hospitals in the Dallas area. Some members are waiting to hear back from recruiters, while others are speculating about potential upcoming rounds of interviews and available positions, particularly in the medical-surgical unit. There is also mention of a new grad webinar and confusion about the hiring process.

It is exactly the same as the application. And I got this hours after the interview invite email. Do you think I should reach out to the recruiter to clarify?

I probably would just get clarification from it. Especially if you already told them your preferred location and unit.

Did you receive the email from the same recruiter? For me, this is the second time receiving the prescreen email but it's a different recruiter. I am guessing this is a recruiter from a different medical city location..

No! I only had 1 scheduled interview last cohort and didn't get an offer. ;-( This will be my second go this Thursday. On the spot offers are not common at this event. Most decision emails came by the end of the week or weekend.
Last cohort, I had friends who stayed the entire event and waited for last minute interview openings (I.e., when someone didn't show for their interview). I don't think they are allowing us to do that this time, but we'll see!

They start with the generic "tell me about yourself and why you want to work at this unit.” They also asked situational stuff "explain a time you had to manage a heavy workflow" OR " tell us about a time you had to think quickly on your feet.”
Def have questions ready to ask the hiring managers after — makes you look more interested.

Which specialty did you interview last time?
