I am applying to Medical Center of Trinity, on a med/surg unit.

Does anyone know what charting software they use, and what are the ratios?

They use Meditech (I don't work at Trinity, but I work for another HCA hospital).

Specializes in oncology, MS/tele/stepdown.

This information is a couple years old, but I worked there as a traveler one season and had 6:1 dayshift, saw them take up to 8:1 on nightshift on M/S. A couple floors were capped at 5:1 (PCU, ED holds) and onc didn't staff techs so they were capped at 4:1.

well for anyone who is interested in current med/surg ratios as of 8/2020 it's 6 pts, and if someone calls off they give you 7. and the unit I interviewed said they have a lot of psych pts,so you're even more busy.
