Take a good look at the NCLEX books. Some books consist of only NCLEX questions with rationales and others are a comprehensive review book offering specific info for each spection but they have a limited amount of nclex questions. Once you get the book that is appropriate for you needs, read, answer and look the rational for all the questions.
Learning to figure out what the question is asking is key. Slowly and completely read the question, then try to eliminate filler information. Then try to answer the question before looking at the answers.
There are many books that are directed towards testing for nursing. I have 2 and they have really helped improve my exam scores for classes.

Hello!
I am in dire need of some help! I am doing horrible in Med/Surg II and its all critical care. I know the material but I am having a HORRIBLE
 time just simply answering the exam questions. I am not alone in this either. We are all getting 60's. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can do some practice questions. Is there a free website I can use?? Or is there a book I can buy with practice questions?? I just need to practice practice practice! I always get down to 2 answers and talk myself out of the right answer. Thanks for your help
