Med-Surg Class Group Project

Hello all!

I am still taking my pre-req's but one of my classes is to do a group project giving an approximate presentation of 45min. about Med-surg. I have a number of questions I'd like to ask you all.

How long have you worked in the ER/OR or ICU?

What are your duties in your position?

What drew you to the job?

What do you like best/worst about it?

How long did it take for you to feel comfortable in your position?

What is the most unusal case you have seen/treated?

Where can I find more information on Acute care Med-surg?

Ummm...if your presentation is about medical-surgical nursing, I don't understand why you would ask how long someone has worked in the emergency department, the operating room, or the intensive care unit. :bugeyes:

We have to inclued Acute care also and review hospital based care in our presentation.

My part of it is to find more information on surgery and since our emergency-room person has dropped the ball, I am trying to find more information on that part of the presentaion.
