https://www.msncb.org/exam-preparationEverything you could possibly need can be found under this link.
If you're a week or two away and you aren't prepared you need to re schedule your exam,or, just go take it, and if you fail, spend a couple months studying the material linked above, pay the extra $270 or whatever it is, and take it again.
Cramming is stupid.

Yes!
I used the book and review questions recommended by amsn.org. They have a 600 page review book that I read through and a booklet of review questions. I've studied pretty consistently 2-3 hours a week since May and wrote down some notes (I study better when I write things down but don't necessarily have to re-read them). I also got the CMSRN app and another med-surg review questions app. There is obviously no way to memorize everything but it helped me. I passed today!
Congratulations!! Did you do the AANC or CMSRN. I am doing the AANC next 2 months. Congratulations once again.
I did the CMSRN. Good luck on yours! Usually the best was to study is to use recommended study guides by the organization, it can be expensive but at least the hospital will reimburse me.
Thank you!

I took the exam today unfortunately i did not pass. This is my 2nd attempt. I don't know what to do now. I used the review practice question book, Lippincott medsurg certification book and 75 practice questions online recommended by AMSN. I purchased the amsn 2 day live class online. But still I did not pass. Any advise that can help me to pass this cmsrn certification, I would appreciate it. Thank you all.!

I used two resources: Lippincot’s Medical-Surgical Certification Review book and the CMSRN app that contained 500 questions if you purchased and upgraded your account. I read about 60% of the book and did approx. 90% of the questions in the app and passed the exam at the first attempt. I found the exam to be a little tedious due to its length, moderately hard, not too easy but not excessively hard, and a whole lot better in design compared to the NCLEX-RN. In the NCLEX-RN you couldn’t progress to a question until you had answered and submitted the previous one; this differs in this test, you get all 175 questions from the start and you can skip, flag, and return to unanswered questions at your will. If anybody would like a further insight into the test, ask below and I’ll be glad to answer your questions.

For how long did you review for your certification?

https://www.amsn.org/certification/certification-review-courseThis isn't the NCLEX (which I passed in 75 questions first time out). Like the NCLEX, this is aimed at a specific audience and you need to learn to think like that audience, eg; "What about this patients condition makes them wrong for this Med Surg floor?" Don't rush that video. Lock your door and turn off your phone. Take breaks. And, when test time comes, rest up the night before, eat a good breakfast and leave the Red Bull alone.
