Full time positions are usually 1.0 fulltime equivalents (FTE)=40 hr/wk. There are variations of FT 0.9 which is 3-12 shifts/wk. 0.2 position =8hrs/wk, I guess they could turn it into 12 hr shift. It all depends on their staffing patterns. Many ICU are on 12 shifts-it cuts down on schedule issues.
Hope this helps,

The title pretty much says it. I was looking at jobs on Indeed and I noticed that some of the hospital jobs will say things like "Part-time 12 hour shift 0.2 or 0.?." Some say full-time 12 hour shift 0.9 or 1.0. I hate to sound dense, but what does that mean in terms of how many hours a week you could work?
Thank you for any help for a newbie.
