MDS training unavailable in Georgia

:banghead: hello again! i recently posted an inquiry for mds training in georgia-unfortunately the replys i received were several years old and i think probably automatic responses from wherever? i really would like to get the training-i live in georgia-my state has cancelled all training for the remainder of the year, nrai also has cancelled atlanta for the year. i have even contacted tennessee, alabama, s. carolina, and florida. no response from those states:(--does anyone have any ideas out there--and no--can't get a job around here without experience. i am unable to work the floor in an snf to possibly get "into" the position d/t back surgery so this is not an option either. if anyone has participated in online stuff-please let me know-i don't care to pay for a "junk" program-i want quality stuff. many thanks to you out there who can give constructive, quality info!

You can find free training on the CMS website....it's not junk and it's free

Rena Shepard will be in Atlanta sometime in the middle of September doing the three day AANAC workshop.

Here is a link with the upcoming AANAC classes. http://www.aanac.org/pages/workshops.asp You also have the option of joining AANAC and doing their program at home.

The traning on the CMS site is good...just time consuming.
