MDs not happy about DNP

Published

my fiancé wont go to the doctors because they wont give him the time of day, yet the mds think that having dnp's will lower quality of care. after having one grandma die after a botched surgery and an aunt that was sick with cancer for 7 years before being properly diagnosed, i can't see how quality of care could go down. i know my situations are not the norm and i don't fault the medical field for it. after all i am entering this field, and i love it. i just think the mds are way off base, i think dnps could only help quality of care.
