  1. my fiancé wont go to the doctors because they wont give him the time of day, yet the mds think that having dnp's will lower quality of care. after having one grandma die after a botched surgery and an aunt that was sick with cancer for 7 years before being properly diagnosed, i can't see how quality of care could go down. i know my situations are not the norm and i don't fault the medical field for it. after all i am entering this field, and i love it. i just think the mds are way off base, i think dnps could only help quality of care.
  2. i am a nursing student, working towards my cna and bsn i would really like to be a np. i had originally wanted to specialize in oncology, but my friends have spent the last two years trying to conceive and i became really interested in fertility. i was wondering if this is possible as an np or if there is a better path for me to take to be able to work in the field. such as cns, pa.. maybe something else. thanks so much!
