sorry I couldn't get back sooner…..wow…that exam was a killer. Very tough. I would say tougher than the TEAS. I passed but I really can't say how and wasn't expecting it. There is no calculator for the math section. Focus on percentages and the different type of questions that can be asked with it. Other than that, basic algebra and computations other than couple of geometry problems. Also, use the answers to guid you. That's what I did since I was pressed on time and it worked out. Passed Math with a 52%.
Science was the most difficult. A bunch of physics questions when last time I checked, physics wasn't required for nursing so I guessed a lot. Also, took some good guesses. Not a lot of anatomy or physiology on my exam. Basic Biology and scientific interpretation as well as some physical science.
Reading was a bit difficult but that's my strongest area. As far as the reading passages go, it's easy. The tougher part is the vocabulary. I didn't know a lot of the words and since they use synonyms as answered, if I didn't know what the choices meant, I was stuck. I just took the best guess I could considering the options.
Overall, a pretty tough test for me. On Science, I got a 60% and on Reading I got a 75%. Overall score is a 117.
Manage your time. I only studied for two days so I was really nervous. Just give it your best shot.
That seems really unfair to me. I guess the exam was super hard but they should admit those who did pass first. You can't make the exam a requirement if you're going to allow those who don't pass, apply. Anyways, I hope that we all get in! I'm really liking the MDC Medical Campus so far but I have other schools I applied to so we'll see.

Hello everyone! Just thought I would get this started. I'm in the process of applying and taking the NLN exam sometime in April since I can only take it once for the admissions process anyways. Has anyone heard anything about the exam? Also, is there anyone who has done the MDC Nursing program and is willing to share their experience? Thanks!
