Hi everyone!
This thread is for anyone applying to MD Anderson for the Graduate Nurse Residency starting in Summer 2015. I have my panel interview coming up next week. If anyone has any thoughts or information feel free to share. Good luck!
Deej394,
Hi, I began the program in February. It definitely has it's positives and negatives. Benefits and pay is pretty good. But the hospital has been suffering from a pretty big nursing shortage which has led to a lot of recent changes in scheduling and is the reason they hire so many grad nurses every semester. I've had mixed feelings working there. I enjoy it but feel like I am not getting the opportunity to learn as much as I could be elsewhere. I work on G19- Medical oncology/Telemetry. Not trying to be a negative Nancy, but I wish someone would have gave me more insight before I made my final decision. Hope this helps!

Hi all-
I was just accepted into the fall cohort for the nurse residency program at MD Anderson. I am from out of state, and weighing my options. Can anyone provide insight into the program and its benefits and shortfalls? Have you enjoyed the experience so far?
Thanks!
