Hi everyone,

I was recently accepted. It didn't take long after I submitted my application to get response.

Ill be moving to worcester. Does anyone have any advice on the area, the program (past or current students, also advice on paying for the program.

Hey there! just chiming in to say I commuted Boston to (MCPHS) Manchester for the ABSN program and it was about an hour but doable! Congrats!

I also got into the MCPHS Accelerated nursing program this upcoming fall!

Hey! I just sent in my deposit and will be attending in the fall! It's going to be a 1.5 hour commute- I own a house so moving temporarily wouldn't work.

Has as anyone gotten information on orientation or class registration?

(Stats: overall gpa 3.4, science 3.1, four years as CNA and 2 years experience in MH/SA) but I applied once and was denied, I retook A&P I, orgo, Chem I and then took developmental, got more experience and was admitted this time!

No class registration as it's the same for everyone in the program :-) for lab sections they split it up based on the alphabet!

Thanks! I hope they send some kind of information soon though or have an orientation, I know nothing except that I'm accepted lol

I think we had our orientation at the end of August or so! They will start sending info on things like scrub ordering/fittings etc.

For N1 though, basically just plan to be on campus 8-5 Mon-Fri! :) Might have a half-day or two (while the other sections have lab... I used to have half-days Wednesdays and Fridays), but that time is great for assignments/studying.

Thank you so much! Did you complete the program?

Yep! Loved it, but it is definitely intense :-)

Hey CiaMia! When did you complete the program? And do you recommend to buy the books they tell us to buy?

Hi CiaMia, I was wondering how much time typically would you spend after the 9-5 classes studying. Also are there breaks between semesters?

Thanks

December 2015 -- and yes, for the core/required texts, definitely! Or rent them from amazon at the very least.
