Hey everyone, just wondering if anyone plans on applying for the Fall 2015 ADN program at MCC in Waco?

When do you have to let temple know by?

I got placed on the Alternate list at temple. I'm going to call on Monday to see how far down the list I am.

I think I'll get into McLennan for sure because my application looks a lot better there. But hopefully they let us know soon. Faith (the lady who works the front desk) told me it could be anywhere from the beginning to mid June. I have the patience level of a little kid right now

June 8. And that's still pretty good! Faith is so nice :) And ya I'm literaly dying to know if I got into Waco because I really dont think I would like living in Temple very much. Plus looking for a place to live!

Yeah she's awesome.

Waco has its violence and what not but I like it a lot better than temple because it's a college town with a little bit more to do on your free time (if we will be fortunate enough to have free time).

Hopefully MCC will hurry up and let us know. Maybe they could tell you out of courtesy since you have this big decision to make.

They messed up my gpa!! I have a 4.0 in ore and they said I had a 3.4!!! OMG

I didn't get accepted... I should have 43 points but they say I have 37!!!!!!

Really?! Wow I'm sorry that happened. Hopefully they can straighten it out but if not, at least you got in at TC!

Ya... So just to be clear they look at the gpa of the prerequsites? I had 4.0 in all the pre classes and that automatically gives you 40 points right?? Plus the 2 points I would have got for the corequisets and then a point for the hesi. Did I add something up wrong? They said I had 37 points with a 4.3 gpa. The way I added it up I should have 43 points.....

Yes, if you made A's in:

BIOL 2401

ENGL 1301

PSYC 2301

That should have given you 40 points, plus the point for your HESI and the points for your Co-reqs.

You should definitely go speak with Faith and let them know what's going on, it sounds like a mistake was made.

There deff was then I had all A's in those classes...Im going to speak to them tomarrow! HOPEFULLY they will be ok with it since its there mistake and I clearly had over 41 points :/
