Mayo Nursing Externship Summer III 2019

I applied for the Summer III nursing externship and I just wanted to start this forum to see where everyone is at in the application process.

I'm planning on making a facebook group! It won't let me until I have the name of one other group member, so if anyone feels bold enough to comment, please do. OR you can private message me and I'll add you that way! After it officially gets created, it'll be called "Mayo Summer III Externship 2019". I'll let you know when it's up and running. So to the first person who wants to be added, send your info my way and we'll get this ball rolling!!

Anyone know how much the provided housing will cost?

@carv I'm not entirely sure. Someone from last year's program commented a while back that it's $200/month. I saw another person say it was $200/check (so roughly $400/month). I reached out to the girl who was on my unit last year, and she said she thinks it changes each year, but that Mayo definitely pays a large amount of it. She said she would absolutely choose the provided housing again if she had to do it all over. She said it's so cool because you get to hear everyone's stories from all of the units at night, you never feel alone, and you can make some really great friends. So I'm not 100% sure how much it costs, but I'll definitely be living there!

When it says "school" on our paperwork we just put the college we currently go to right? I'm sure I'm overthinking this but I just want to be sure?

@itblikethat Yea that is what I did. For our confirmation form, y'all just sign your name right? I didn't print my name on that form at the end of the paper.

I'm overthinking about this too ?
