how you may have used any aspects of biology

Hi, My name is Maisha. I wanted to know if you had any examples on how you may have used any aspects of biology as a Pediatric Nurse?

Specializes in Complex pedi to LTC/SA & now a manager.

Could you be more specific? Everything about life is technically biology or a derivative

What are some day to day diagnosis that you have to deal with? and how do you solve them? and i will just see how it relates.

I don't solve medical diagnosis. Medical diagnoses vary from cerebral palsy, epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, acute & chronic respiratory failure, asthma, IDDM, asthma, bronchpulmonary dysplasia, retinopathy of prematurity, gastroesophogeal reflux, hydrocephalus, LGS, renal calculus, autonomic dysreflexia, chromosomal abnormalities, trisomy 21, trisomy 18, complete C2/C3 spinal cord transection and resultant quadriplegia and trach/vent dependent, allergies, hiatal hernia, eosinophilic gastritis, autism, intestinal pseudo obstruction, dumping syndrome, hypotonic bladder, scoliosis, hypotonic & hypertonic muscle tone, spastic quadriplegic and diplegic cerebral palsy, PVL, ICH, gastroparesis,

So what are some of the things that you do on a daily basis as a pediatric nurse when working with patients?
