state board meeting to be held in philadelphia

on may 7th, 2007, the pennsylvania state board of nursing will hold two special informational sessions in philadelphia, pa on the thomas jefferson university campus, in the solis-cohen auditorium, jefferson alumni hall located at 1020 locust street. information offered will include the purpose of the board of nursing, general practice issues, regulatory changes and issues related to licensure.

• first session: 10:00 - 11:30am will address topics related to certified registered nurse practitioners (crnps)

• second session: 1:00 - 4:30pm will address issues related to the initial licensing exam, practice permits, rn and lpn nursing education program statistics.

following each presentation, board members, nursing advisors and legal counsel to the board will be available to answer your questions. please contact jasmynn fetterolf in the board office at (717) 214-2643 by march 30th to register for the above informational sessions.

on may 8th 2007, the regular board meeting will be held in the same location. registration is not necessary for the board meeting. you may request an agenda for the board meeting from the board office.
