math test, everyone failed

Published

Yesterday our class took a math test (dosage calculations) that we are supposed to pass in order to graduate in four weeks. No one passed. There were things on the test that we never saw before. I don't know why we were not prepared for this, and why they have waited so close to graduation to test us. Does every nursing school do this and how do people get through it? We have two more chances to take it, but I just don't understand why they didn't prepare us for it better. Don't they want us to pass it?

that is scary... I took my HOAE entrance exam and did so bad that it said i was like the lower 15% LOL. I get accepted anyway etc etc. they probably figured i just was out of it cause I have a bachelors degree with plenty of college level math. ANYWAY

1st semester in pharmacology (current semester) i am having problems all semester getting the concepts down for the practice problems leading up to our math test and i felt like i was gonna fail come test day...i went in thinking, ok, we get 3 chances at this test ill get it by the next test date for sure...well got a 99/100 1st shot out...so yes this is scary that nobody in your class passed! now i look at it as very easy math, i was just nervous and get it totally now
