For basic nursing classes you can get along with basic algebra. As long as you can work with fractions and find "X" in a simple equation you will be OK. If you are going to be in a BSN program where you will be taking a class in Nursing Research you will need a class in statistics which usually requires College Algebra as a pre-requisite.

Hi!
I am a pre-nursing trying to get accepted into a program. My grades are basically a's and b's except for math which is a c+.
In nursing do you use more: algebra or statistics. I want to try one more time and I am undecided. My school does not specify which one to take they just say a math course.
Thanks
