Thanks! I'll definitely plan to take Statistics. I'm still really confused about the College Algebra verses Mathematical Modeling.
My mom said she thought math modeling was a lot of word problems, she started to take the class but realized she'd rather figure out a formula than all those word problems. I'm still thinking college algebra might be more useful, but I don't really know what math modeling is. It must be sufficient though if all the nursing schools around here say you can take either math modeling or college algebra??

OK, the nursing school I plan to attend requires to MATH courses and I have a choice in which ones I want to take.
Here are my options:
1st requirement: College Algebra or Mathematical Modeling
2nd requirement: Statistics or Pre-Calculus
I had originally planned to go with College Algebra, but honestly I'd prefer the easier course...Mathematical Modeling.
My question... If I took Mathematical Modeling and Statistics would I be prepared for the nursing exams and also the coursework completed in all the Nursing classes?
I definitely want to go the route of the easier classes, but not at the expense of my future coursework. So what do you all think? Are the easier classes enough?
Thanks!
