I know you asked for comments from nurses and I am not even a nursing student but at one time I was really depressed and suicidal. I had therapist out the butt and didn't find any help. Just so much medication I was a zombie. I don't know how you feel about God and faith, let me apologize if I offend anybody, but when I went back to God my depression was taken care of. The prayer from friends and church members brought me through some really dark times in my life. Please, I'm not saying or trying to get you saved, I just know it worked when nothing else did. Just my opinion, please don't hate me for what I believe!

Hi Ladies, I am just curious about if I matriculated to a school prior to the requesting the TEAS will I still be required to take it? Or because the catalog is a legal contract I would be exempt? Just wondering because I can't add another thing to my plate at this moment and I would love to start nursing school soon! Trust me life hasn't been a bed of roses and if I can side step this test I would love to. ANY SUGGESTIONS OR COMMENTS WILL BE APPRIECATED!

I have lived with this "monster" for about 9 years now and I can't lie everyday is a struggle. I was married but now separated and living back home with my Mother. I lost a good job because of it but found a doctor who understood. He got me on medication and now for the last 2 years I have been going to school to finish my degree. I don't know how you feel about God but let me say He helped me in my darkest hour to not take my life because of the pain and not sleeping. But as I said, the right doctor is a blessing. I have found you really need to eat right. Not 3 big meals but graze during the day. I exercise when I can't sleep and walking on the treadmill really helped me get tried enough to fall and stay asleep. Good luck! You can manage this "monster"!

Let me say, I am attending Chattahoochee right now and I have had nothing but wonderful professors!:yeah:I was thinking about their ADN program but it might not be on board even in Jan.'10, so do apply other places. I have been to numerous 3 different in the state and one online, they try hard to help but since the merger things have gotten a bit slower. We did get a new Micro professor which should help by adding more classes of Micro. I love the school but looking at GA Highlands as a matter of fact got to take SAT on the 1st of Sept and maintain the 4.0 and prayerfully I will be in at the first of 2010!

Thank you this will help me a lot! I have purchased both books from NET and ATI as well since each school wants a different test. I thank you for letting me know about the metric conversion,it's been awhile. Now for physics and geology!
