My post was in reply to a few comments made by previous posters regarding the dangers of chilbirth and mortality rates.
But childbirth is dangerous. And the mortality rates, especially for minorities isn't good.
I have known for years, that abortion is safer for a woman, than childbirth.
One of the women I discussed, was perfectly healthy, with a unremarkable pregnancy.
She is dead because people falsely believe that childbirth is so safe for women.

You've not really articulated a point. Childbirth can be dangerous, it isn't absolutely so. Having properly trained healthcare professionals at the ready is where we as nurses and APRNs come into the mix.

Yes, I have articulated a point. You may not agree with it, but that is another matter.
The point is, women are dying. That is documented. Read the articles, or listen to the NPR stories.
Healthcare workers aren't properly trained.
