I'm new to this section of nursing and have no ideas what these terms meant in OBGYN?? can some one please help me put them in words i understand?

All of these terms you have listed are common terminology in OB nursing, which is why I am referring you to the best resource besides a nursing text book, which is Mosby's Medical, Nursing, and Allied Health Dictionary, or if one is not at your disposal, search the internet. Most of these terms have complex explanations and are much too long for someone to type for you. Good luck.

Most libraries of any size will have a maternal-child textbook that will not only define these terms but will have pictures and diagrams to help illustrate their meaning.

You can also Google each term or OB terms in general.

The above suggestions should put you in the right direction. You might remember some of the more basic ones from your maternal/child class, I would think. Anyway, Mosby's is probably the best reference you'll find. Good luck-
