maternal fetal conflict paper

Published

Hello everyone I am currently attending a nursing program in western ny and I am having some difficulties on starting my paper. I chose to write about maternal-fetal conflict and in my paper I want to discuss PIH, GDM, and HELLP. Basically my paper is overviewing how the fetus successfully "robs" nutrients, and the waste excreted from the fetus that is returned to the mother's circulation for excretion forms many physiologic changes that are in deed detrimental to the mother's health. So far I just have the cover page done..I'm stumped on how to briefly explain in one paragraph what my paper is going to be about. I would know how to transition the different acquired disease processes into paragraphs yet its the part where I explain how they would occur without getting into detail. I know this sounds fuzzy but this is how confused I am! someone please help. -RG

How about that as your opener? You could clean it up and draw in those pathos (PIH, GDM, and HELLP) state a few of the health detriments to mom and move on from there...

I always wait until the end of my paper to write the first paragraph. Maybe if you focused on the rest of the paper and saved this part for last, that would help? Good luck.

The great thing about writing on a computer is that you DON"T have to start at the beginning. It is much easier to just write the parts you already have in your head. Then you can move them around, add transitions, and write the intro and the summary. Many people spend a lot of time trying to come up with the perfect intro. It is much easier to write an intro saying what your paper is about after you have written it! Just start writing!
