How can i get a master degree in nursing from USA universities, what are the requirements.

It depends on the program and your educational background, there is not one answer to your question.

If you are a RN ( licensed) in the USA with a BSN you can apply to any Master's program, each program has it's own requirements.

Yes,RN ( licensed) with BSN from India but didnt get my visa due to retrogresion.I am intrested to do my Master program in Medical and Surgical.

Please be aware that even if you go for the MSN here, you are still going to be unable to get a visa for here. There are so many from your country of birth that already hold the Master's degree from here that things are still retrogressed if one has the Master's from your country back about 6 years currently now.

I want you to be very aware of this before you start any program as you will not be able to remain here after completing it in most cases; definitely not with the green card.

As far as getting into a program here, you are going to need to have a credentials eval done and then it will depend on your grade-point average from school as well as the specific requirements for that university.

You also need to complete an entry exam such as either the GRE or one that the university requires.

Other issue that one needs to take into consideration right now is that many programs are decreasing the number of students that they are going to accept due to the downturn in the economy, it is one way for them to keep their costs down.
