Master cardiology for peds

Is the Littmann master cardiology stethoscope to big to use on peds? I work in a picu currently as a CA and i'm pretty much guaranteed a job when I graduate as a RN soon. I had some hearing loss a couple years back and my el cheapo ADC lightweight isn't doing it for me anymore. If i'm going to spend a ton of money I may as well spend it right. I will be dealing with very few if any premies. Or should I just go for the cardiology iii since it has the peds head? I'm still iffy on the tunable diaphragms but I need to hear better :)

Thanks!

The master card can be used, but it will just take up a wider area. It really is up to you. I have a Cardiology III, work in ER, and use the larger diaphragm on everyone from infants to old people. the Master Cardiology if you are really concerned does have a peds attachment you would buy separately. any scope will do, and the lightweight (ADC or Littmann) are crappy scopes. ADC makes a good peds specific scope...the ADC 604.
