Massasoit Nursing Program 2019

Since there was topic started under the title "Massasoit Fall 2018" and it was extremely informative. I figured I would start a new topic for 2019 for all those who have applied to the Nursing Program at Massasoit so that we can all contribute and give eachother status updates on acceptance, scores, etc. I hope you call chime in.

I got my letter yesterday & unfortunately am "waitlisted" ? Does anyone know how many get placed on the waitlist and if there's a way to find out what # I am on the list?

@Shauna0084 I’m sorry to hear this. Just remember that there are many people that probably applied to more than one program, and might have accepted a spot someplace else. Perhaps you can call admissions and find out about the waitlist. You may very well be near the top.

Hey Shauna0084,

I was in the same boat as you summer of 2016. I recommend you go to the school and go over your score with an academic advisor. I was originally #12 on the list but after going over It, got bumped up to #6. I was eventually accepted into the program for 2016. It was a wait but well worth it. Any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.

Congrats to everyone who has been excepted so far!! I hope to be joining you all. I'm still so nervous because I haven't seen any change in my degree works yet. Has anyone who's applied to the LPN to RN been accepted yet?

I’m waiting to hear for the LPN RN bridge- they said it would be mid to late June after the FT Nursing program decisions go out. I’ve still been checking degree works everyday though?? good luck and congrats to all those who got in!

Good Morning all! I have been lurking here to watch when the letters go out, ( shameful, I know!) but I wanted to reach out to those of you who are waiting, who have received, and who are wait listed. I just received my letter Monday and I was accepted. I know I was using this page as an updater of sorts. My Degree works hasn't changed yet, so don't get nervous if you were using that as an indicator!

For those still waiting - I don't think I have ever stressed about a piece of paper more in my life (haha) so be strong, we are coming to the end of June. They WILL get out!

For those on the wait list, don't let this diminish your hard work! You are trying to go into a profession that is challenging and tough. The thankful part about our long wait is that many people probably got accepted elsewhere!

Finally - I would love to get in touch with some of the people who will be in the up coming Nursing Education - FT program so please reach out! I'm sure it will be a bit calmer and reassuring knowing some faces going in!

So, I've also been stalking this post to get updates on acceptance letters. Yesterday, I finally received one. I'll be attending the 2019 FT Nursing program. Any other fellow classmates that would like to connect prior to classes? We're going to need as much support as humanly possible. Congratulations, ladies! I look forward to meeting you.
