Since there was topic started under the title "Massasoit Fall 2018" and it was extremely informative. I figured I would start a new topic for 2019 for all those who have applied to the Nursing Program at Massasoit so that we can all contribute and give eachother status updates on acceptance, scores, etc. I hope you call chime in.
I applied to the full-time RN program. I thought they said beginning/middle of May, but I'm sure a lot of factors play into that time frame. The TEAS were a bit more difficult than I had initially anticipated. I had to take them a second time. I didn't get over a 90, but I did well. @Lolalove, the high 80's is a terrific score! What section did you score highest in?
Hello all. I know everyone is getting impatient and anxious like me. I just called the admission office this morning and they are running behind, still reviewing applications. They are looking at early June to be done and finalized with acceptance, denial and waitlist to send out official letters. If you are current students, you are able to access it sooner on the student account in degree works. Hopefully the rest of May flies by. Good luck to everyone, fingers crossed ??
I’m really getting nervous. I’m thinking of searching for other schools as a back up if I don’t get accepted. But this is why I need to find out ASAP so I can sign up for summer courses and look elsewhere. Without my personal letter statement, my rubric score is at 58.5 and I’m giving myself at least a few points for the letter which I’m estimating that my overall score is at least 60. I really hope this is good enough for acceptance. What does everybody estimate their score to be?
I spoke to someone at admissions today and they told me that they are still reviewing applications. They said that letters will not be sent out until "at the earliest, June 15th". Really frustrated that the date keeps being pushed back as I need to figure out my plan for this summer if I do not get in for this fall. At least now if you are wait listed your odd of getting in are probably much higher since they are waiting so long to get back to everyone because a lot of people will already be committed to different schools by then I'm sure

I’m just the standard RN program, does that mean the date I hear from them could be different from the lpn-rn program?
