Massasoit cc rn program '15

Hello All,

This is my first post and it is about the LPN to RN program at MCC. I would love to hear from past/current students about the waiting process, and the program itself. I applied in January and is currently awaiting the acceptance or worse; the rejection letter:( Positive thoughts!!

I am also here to answer any questions to those who are considering the this program.

A girl i work with is graduating in may, she said the class below her is doing terrible and there could be many spots open, she said in her class they accepted 16 lpns, not that i hope anyone fails í ½í¸•

I have heard that too. They have lost a few... I am in the evening generic program

That's scary but good for us waiting I guess. I did a search on NCLEX pass rates, and it seem their rates have be plummeting over he years. I have attached a link.

National Council Licensure Examinations (NCLEX) by School

Do you know exactly which date finals are? I think its safe to say that we wont get our letters until they have marked those grades.

Finals this week coming so we should hear something by the following i would guess.

Ohhh they went from 92% pass rate from 12 and 13 to 75% in 14.... Thats scary!

I noticed quite a few cc NCLEX rates go down last year. Including our school. Not sure what happened
