Hi,
Years ago I met with the director of this program and really loved it. Over the past 2+ years I've been doing the prereqs and volunteering at a hospital. It began to go to the backburner because I felt an accel BSN would be a better choice. Well now that I am ready to apply I can't get this program out of my head as being the top choice. SO I'm aiming on the GRE's for Sept to apply for their deadline. Just wanted to see if any students could provide some input on their experience there, and post graduation. I had a NP a few years ago at Harvard Vanguard in Copley who was a graduate and said such great things. I also can see that only Northeastern students get these intern positions at MGH (I'm sure there are internships open to all as well, but I see just Northeastern ones- I'm an employee at Partners). This makes me think they have an advantage... anywho, any feedback would be sooo greatly appreciated!!:redbeathe
Thanks!
Hi ijustwanttoknow, no problem! I just typed 'northeastern' into the search engine for this site and it was one of the links listed below that.
I've also heard that the online option is easier to get into and I think it is just for the reason that anyone would probably rather take classes in person. I would definitely love to talk to someone already in the program to see how they've been handling it. I applied to that option just because I know how competitive the program is and I want to keep my options open!
And thank you! It doesn't feel real yet haha... Congratulations to you too! What have you been doing for work since then? And yes we were!! It's about time =)

Hi hellosun, thanks for the info! Do you happen to have a link for where you found out about other current applicants? I've been googling for a conversation like that for a while now to no avail but I'd love to hear what other people are up to.
About the online option, I didn't indicate on my app that I would be interested in the online classes (I've taken them before and I didn't think it was the best choice for me personally). I understand from speaking with faculty that the online option is a bit easier to get into though, maybe because it's newer? Did you apply for online?
Congrats for graduating this year! I graduated in '08 and have been working since then, and ready to get back to school! Was NEU so excited to beat BU in the beanpot? I was so excited from over here in Cambridge :)
