Hello!
I'm a third semester Accelerated BSN student at Marymount University. My stats were nowhere near as great as yours and I was accepted. So, don't worry! It's weird that you have to take the TEAS though. When I applied, if we had over a certain GPA, the TEAS was waived.
Ohhhhh I see. I assumed you were applying for the second degree program! I wasn't aware that the traditional track had a spring start date. So you are applying for the tradition BSN program??
In that case, I can't speak from experience, but from my understanding, the Accelerated BSN admissions are supposed to be more "competitive" than the traditional BSN, so you should be totally fine with your [really awesome] stats!
Hey girl!
I am a senior in the traditional cohort and I transferred in as well (Im just assuming you are a transfer too). Anyway you should STOP freaking out, I know a bunch of girls who transferred in with a less-than-ok TEAS score or no TEAS at all. You will get accepted! Now take a deep breath and get ready for all of the hard work. Ha! When you start in the spring come to a Student Nurses Association event and say "hi", Im an officer and I would love to meet you!
Good Luck!

Hey everybody! I just wanted some help / advice. I am applying for Marymount university in Virginia for the spring 2016 start with a 3.65 cumulative GPA, a 3.4 prerequisite GPA (they don't look at prerequisite GPA though) and a 72.8% on the TEAS. I am going to retake the TEAS for hopefully a better score ( that was my first time and I could have studied way more than I did). I was just wondering if anyone else was applying for spring or if anyone else got into Marymounts nursing program with similar stats. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
