Hello all!
So I just submitted my Marymount Transfer Nursing Undergraduate application and thought I'd go ahead and make a thread on it for those in the same boat. I have a 3.14 GPA, 82.7% composite TEAS score, and great resume as well as recommendations. Marymount only asks for 1 recommendation but I went ahead and submitted three - one from my high school principal and two from current professors. I submitted my application for the Feb. 22nd review and was wondering, when will I likely hear back? Additionally, do you guys think I have a good chance of being accepted? My biggest concern is that I was suspended during high school... however I was completely transparent about the whole ordeal in my application. All in all, I truly think my overall application shows notable growth and academic achievement. I hope this thread will be helpful to others with similar concerns!

I agree about the Facebook group! I looked at on campus housing and it seems more expensive than off campus apartments so I’m leaning towards that.

As am I! My email is [email protected]
The Rixey actually seems like a decent place to live, close to campus and about the same price as living in an off campus apartment. If anyone is interested, they have 2 bed 2 bath options that are a bit cheaper than living in a 1/1! Also, for anyone who already lives there or goes to school there, can you survive without a car? I'm debating if I should leave my car here and rely on the metro/shuttle...

Hmmm that's definitely something to consider, especially if it's comparable to apartments in the area. I was also wondering about the car situation, but from what I understand, we might need one for our clinicals, since not all of them may be near a metro line and it's also early in the morning. Not totally sure though.
Hi everyone! I was also accepted for the fall 2019!! I am worried about the cost of the program and the overall value of it. I don't have a lot of information about the school or the nursing program. Can anyone share any information about the school (professors and the curriculum)?Students who completed the program, how happy are you with your decision? How much did you end up paying and how soon did you find a job? Thank you!
