Science GPA (per MBU course requirement) 3.5

5.5yrs STICU (Level 1 Trauma Center)

I did not submit my GRE score since they did not require it

CCRN/ TCRN/TNCC

-AACN

-AACN local chapter

-Emergency Nurse Association

-Society of Trauma Nurse

Please note I was waitlisted 2022 cycle with MBU-- during that cycle their requirements were a minimum CUMULATIVE GPA of 3.0-- I did not meet this requirement (2.92 cGPA) but had applied anyway

I did have a one-on-one zoom meeting with the Assistant Director during the 2022 open application cycle

Before the 2023 cycle opened back up MBU reached out to all who were waitlisted from 2022 and held a zoom meeting with us on reapplying and strengthening our application and also stated that they changed the requirement and do not look at CUMULATIVE GPA but rather Nursing GPA and Science GPA.

I was accepted ?

Don't give up!

Specializes in CCU/CVICU/SICU Traveler.

CMC : I didn't study. I took CMC right after CCRN.

GRE: I used a workbook from china. Never use Magush or word smart series..those are just a waste of time.

Specializes in Neuro ICU, MICU/SICU.

For anybody that goes to MBU, how are you guys liking it? Thinking of applying.
