Marquette University Direct MSN (Hybrid-Pleasant Prairie) for Fall 2017

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi! I'm in the beginning stages of putting my application packet together for the Fall 2017 Direct MSN Hybrid program at Marquette University. So far, I have been very pleased with the conversations that I have had with Rob Haworth, the admissions advisor for the Pleasant Prairie site. My husband completed his undergrad at Marquette, so I know the wonderful culture of Marquette and knew that this was where I wanted to go to complete my MSN.

Also, I was wondering if there was anyone that has or is currently going through the hybrid program through Marquette? How has your experience been? Thank you!

Congrats!!! I don't think we have a group yet. I could be wrong but I thought it was for the Milwaukee cohort.

Congrats Abrazel!! I got in as well! I must admit I was checking my email nonstop this week and it was hidden in my spam mail lol. A weight is lifted :)

Oh no.. do we not have a group? I would love to make one! A huge congrats to you. Emails were refreshed every 10-15 minutes for me as well haha

Congrats Texas! Where in Tx? My in laws are west of Houston.

apb0912,

That's awesome!!! I'm from The Woodlands area which is about an hours drive NW of Houston. Where are you from?

BTW: I'm gonna need all the advice from you guys on the FB group, when it is created, who have lived (lives) in snow areas because I have never even seen snow (I've only seen brown melted snow in the spring time). :)

That crazy they live in Magnolia, my husband graduated from Magnolia High School. You'll be fine as long as you have good tires! What type of car do you drive?

That's crazy I went to Montgomery High (some of my nieces and nephews actually go to Magnolia high now). Small world!

As for my car, I just downsized to a 2016 Toyota Corolla (Front wheel drive) a few months ago, before I even thought to apply to Marquette, so I'm kinda stuck with it.

As long as it's not rear wheel you'll be fine!

I have a Toyota Corolla 2016 too, lol. I have never had a problem with driving through chicagos winter so I think you should be okay!

So I joined two groups on FB. One is called "Marquette Direct-Entry MSN Summer 2017" and the other is the general "Marquette Direct Entry MSN." I'm assuming the summer is meant for August bc the most recent post from that group is about Pleasant Prairie. So I don't think a group has to be made.

I made a fb group if anyone is interested! "Marquette University DE MSN Pleasant Prairie Fall 2017 cohort"

I Keep searching but I can not find it! Would you be able to add me to the group?
