Ooooh you do'nt even want to know ;)

Brock-Loyalist wanted 70% in the four pre reqs ... Math, English, Bio (or Physics, i chose Bio) and Chem ... I had 60% in OAC (gr 13, when it was still around) Finite, 62% in OAC Chem, 65% in OAC Bio and 75% in OAC English. My other two OAC's were Family Studies (81%) and Kinesiology (70 something, i think).

I can't believe i got in ... But i'm going into 3rd year now and have 80%+ in everything. Go figure.

I think it depends on what school you're applying to and what type of application you're submitting. I enterered as a mature student, so I did not have to meet the same academic requirements, although I did need to perform reasonably well in acquiring certain prerequisites. Some schools, in my mind, are "cherry pickers." No need to apply unless you have 90+ marks across the board. I think the best thing to do is try to contact students who are already in the programs you want to apply to and ask them what their marks were.

I was accepted to all the I applied for and my OAC average was 84%, some i got in early with scolarships (nothing to great, but a couple hundred always helps) and only one without. Go figure I went to the school that didn't give me money.

I also applied as a mature student after having gotten a college diploma. My OAC average was 85% and my college average was somewhere in the upper 70's. I'm in 3rd year now. One more year to go.

I am starting in September at age 29, but not considered a 'mature student' because I already have an undergrad degree in science; so I'm considered a 'transfer student'. So my high school marks were used to determine admission. Mine were all 90s, but I agree with previous posters: I think they look at the whole picture, not just the marks.

Good luck with your application, hope you get in! :)

I just finished my exit credits at an adult highschool. My marks are as follows....OAC English 70%, Bio 4U 81%, Chem 4U 75%, Math 3M 70%, those are the required...the rest to make myself NOT a mature student were all 4U or OAC (Ontario revamped their highschool dropping gr 13 alltogether)...World issues 90%, Law 88%, Can Fam 84%. Overall average minus Math was good enough.
